Research
The clinical research at MRC Oulu is focused on diagnostics, treatment, and prevention of nationally significant chronic diseases. The MRC Oulu research groups represent various medical disciplines such as clinical medicine, biomedicine, health sciences and medical technology, as well as humanities.
The growing scientific community of MRC Oulu currently comprises some 80 research groups from Oulu University Hospital, the University of Oulu, and from the Northern Finland collaborative area.
