How to apply

The board of MRC Oulu decides on the research groups to be selected as part of MRC Oulu on the basis of proposals made by the MRC Oulu Scientific Committee.

Who can apply?

• Research groups with topics related to the research interest of MRC Oulu may apply for MRC Oulu research group status
• The research group leader must have an affiliation agreement of at least 20% with Oulu University Hospital, the University of Oulu, or the Northern Finland collaboration area
• A retired research group leader must have an emeritus agreement with the University of Oulu
• The leader of the research group may only belong to one MRC Oulu research group

How?

1. Fill in the membership application form for MRC Oulu
2. Send the completed application by email to the Coordinator of MRC Oulu

Examples of changes to notify:

• Change of group leader
• Retirement of group leader
• Termination of research group activities in MRC Oulu

How?

1. Fill in the notification of change in the MRC Oulu research group
2. Send the completed application by email to the Coordinator of MRC Oulu

Changes in a research group, apart from a group leader change, are to be notified by e-mail to the coordinator of MRC Oulu.

Changes in the use of the Clinical Research Center (CRC) facilities (such as vacating them or changes in the number of people) are to be reported to the CRC Laboratory Manager. See instructions for notifying changes here.
