Patient instructions

You should arrive at the hospital according to the invitation you have received. Please read the invitation letter carefully: it is explained when and where you should come and where you should register. The invitation letter also includes information on how you should prepare yourself before arriving at the hospital.

Parking

The Oulu University Hospital is located on Kajaanintie 50. You can arrive the Outpatient Treatment House (Avohoitotalo) and Medipolis by your own car via Kiviharjuntie as well as directly from the city centre with Citybus B.

Patients and visitors can park their cars in the parking spaces in front of the Oulu University Hospital or in nearby parking garages: Rauhaparkki, the P building at the Outpatient Treatment House (Avohoitotalo) or Sairaalaparkki. There is also customer parking in front of Medipolis.

Arriving by Public Transport

Several buses run in the vicinity of the hospital area from the centre, railway station and bus station. With Citybus B, you can travel directly from the centre to the Outpatient Treatment House and Medipolis.

Call to the appointment

After registration, you will stay in the lobby waiting to be called up. When you are called, your visiting number and the number of the reception room will be indicated on the display in the waiting lobby.
