Here you’ll find helpful information on how to find your way around our hospital area.
Oulu University Hospital
Our digital map shows the locations of the hospital’s service points, units and outpatient clinics. The map includes a search function that helps you find the unit you are looking for. Check the name of your unit from your appointment letter, type it into the search field, and choose the correct location from the suggested options.
You can also print out the Oulu University Hospital campus map and bring it with you when you visit the hospital.
Psychiatric Services and Developmental Disability Services
Please note that the psychiatric services (OYS Psykiatria) and developmental disability services (OYS Konsti) at Oulu University Hospital are located in Peltola district, which is near the main hospital campus. You can find the locations of these units in the Digital OYS Map.
Parking
There are several parking areas and garages on the OYS campus. You can park in front of Oulu University Hospital or in nearby parking garages: Kuuraparkki, Rauhaparkki, the G-Building garage or Sairaalaparkki. Customer parking is also available in front of Medipolis. Parking fees start from 2-2.50€ per 60 minutes.
There are several parking areas in the Peltola district. These are also subject to a fee.
Public transport

When you arrive at the hospital, the information desks in the entrance lobbies are there to help you. The staff will guide you to your clinic and help you find your way around the hospital.
Information desks are located at the entrances of following building: A, B, D and G.
We offer a variety of meal and snack options. Our services are available for patients, staff, and visitors. Our restaurants are open on weekdays during lunch hours. Meals can be paid for with cash or a bank card. In addition to the standard menu, we offer a variety of special diets, such as gluten-free and vegetarian options. Restaurant Apila is located on 0.floor of building A, and Restaurant Kielo can be found in buildin G.
There are also cafeterias near the main entrances A, G, and N. The cafeterias offer a wide selection of beverages as well as sweet and savory snacks.
Several vending machines are available throughout the hospital and are open 24/7.
